Spectacular cliffs, mangrove forests and secluded sandy beaches are its main attractions. First travel to Kampung Bako, from there, a 30 minutes boat ride will bring you to park headquarters. Bako National Park covers 2,742 hectares of the rugged Muara Tebas peninsula to east of the Bako River. In the park, there is abundant variety of vegetation; namely, beach forest, mangrove swamp, mixed dipterocarp, kerangas pole forest, and padang scrub. The kerangas and padang scrub are inhabited by sundew, bladderwort, carnivorous pitcher plants, and the epiphytic antplants. There are 16 trails, covering 25 kilometers in the parks. While out on the trails, you may see otters, squirrels, proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys bearded pigs, and giant monitor lizards. Our tour guide will lead you through selected trails allowing you to make the most of the trip. Lunch will be served and will be back to Kuching by late afternoon . SEMMENGOH ORANG UTAN, POTTERY FACTORY AND ANAH RAIS BIDAYUH LONGHOUSE (Halfday) Depart : 0800 hrs / 1400 hrs (minimum 30 persons) Price : RM 35 per adult / RM 18 per child Semenggoh Rehabilitation Centre where located at Semengoh Forest Reserve, home to Orang Utans and other protected animals rescued from captivity. Trek through the jungle trail & look out for semi-wild Orang Utans in their natural habitat. An amazing experience to meet wild man of Borneo. On the way back to Kuching, stop at Sarawak Pottery Factory for buying souvenirs & gifts. Then proceed to village’s theatre to witness cultural dance presentation. 1400 hours, Resume tour Kuching city tour.
