Objectives and Format of Workshop
 
Emphasis on practical GI endoscopy practice. Demonstration on cases with live transmission by CCTV with short lectures / video demonstrations with focus on practical tips and clinical practice points. Highlights this year include demonstrations (by video or live) of new innovative techniques including capsule endoscopy, endoscopic suturing for GERD, trans-gastric peritoneoscopy, endomicroscopy and zoom endoscopy.
     

GIAs are invited to participate in all sessions. A special GIA symposium will be held on Sunday, 2nd March 2003. This session entitled "Practical Issues In Endoscopy Practice" will consist of four case discussion sessions with a stimulating question and answer format highlighting practical day-to-day problems.
